病證名。在非性交的情況下精液自泄，稱之為遺精，又名遺泄、失精。在夢境中之遺精，稱夢遺；無夢而自遺者，名滑精。《張氏醫通》卷七引“陸麗京曰：“遺精之原有三。有斫喪太過，腎氣不藏，無夢而遺者，當益精以壯火，如鹿茸丸、安腎丸、聚精丸、九龍丹、金鎖玉關丸之類，有勞心太過，心腎不交，酣卧而遺者，當實土以堤水，如歸脾湯、妙香散、遠志丸、補中益氣湯、硃砂安神丸之類。有思想無窮，所願不得，妄夢而遺者，當瀉火以寧水，如滋腎丸、威喜丸、《本事》豬苓丸、清心蓮子飲之類。”腎陽虧損、精關不固者，宜濕腎固攝，用右歸丸、鹿茸大補丸等方；腎精不足、相火妄動者，宜滋陰降火，用大補陰丸、知柏地黃丸、旺水湯、三才封髓丹等方；因於肝鬱，用逍遙散、小柴胡湯加減；挾熱者加用龍膽瀉肝丸；操勞過度，多思妄想，夢遺頻仍者，治宜清心攝腎，用靜心湯、天王補心丹、清心蓮子飲、定志丸等方；病後體虛，心悸、夢遺者，宜用牡蠣散。遺精多見於性神經衰弱、慢性前列腺炎、慢性消耗性疾患。可以改善此現象的清單列表如下:
